How does OOMMI Probiotic products work?

OOMMI Probiotic cleaners remove organic contamination by producing enzymes that break down microscopic dirt into tiny particles and digesting them as food. Unlike commercial cleaners, they are also able to penetrate surface biofilm and kill bad bacteria and leave good bacteria behind. The effects of probiotics are long lasting too, as they can continue to function for days after cleaning. Not to mention our products are non-toxic, biodegradable and safe for use around children and pets.

Is OOMMI safe for use around kids?

Definitely! OOMMI is NON-TOXIC and contains NO harsh chemicals, making it super safe for use around children.

What can I clean with my OOMMI Multi Purpose Cleaner?

You can clean almost any surface area with the OOMMI Multi Purpose Cleaner! Some examples include floors, kitchen, bathrooms, tables, counters and even children toys.

What is the difference between a Probiotic Cleaner and a Chemical Cleaner?

Unlike chemical cleaners that can be ineffective in preventing recontamination of bacteria, a probiotic cleaner like OOMMI is able to clean your home efficiently while keeping bad bacteria from re-populating.

Are OOMMI products safe for the environment?

Yes! All OOMMI products are biodegradable and safe to be released into our waterways. By choosing our products you are choosing to care for the environment by not releasing harmful chemicals into our oceans and rivers.

Can I mix OOMMI products with other chemical products?

No. OOMMI products are all made with LIVE probiotics cultures, therefore mixing it with any chemicals will kill these probiotics, lowering the effectiveness of our products.

What kind of surfactants are OOMMI products made with?

We take pride in creating products that are safe for your skin and the environment. All our products are made using a high quality, plant based surfactant that is non-toxic and non-irritating.

Do OOMMI products contain alcohol?

All OOMMI products do not contain any alcohol or harsh chemicals as our products are non-toxic, non-irritable and biodegradable.

Do OOMMI products contain preservatives?

No. We have chose not to add any preservatives to our products, therefore we recommend our customers to use our products within 3-6 months for optimal effectiveness. However, our products can still be used after that period as the live probiotics will be converted into enzymes, which is still an effective cleaner.

Can OOMMI Multi Purpose/Laundry clean stains?

Our products have been successful in removing certain organic stains like tea stains on ceramic cups, oil stains on clothing and stains on sinks and toilet bowls.

Why does my OOMMI cleaner smell a little sour?

The live probiotics in your Oommi Probiotic cleaners continue to naturally ferment as time goes by. As a result, it may smell a little sour. But don’t worry, the product is completely safe to use and will still work great!
